Ay yo, it’s been a solid minute. No excuses or anything, but I have been slacking. You know how life does: you think you have all the time in the world, then boom, two and a half years flies by and you have not posted once on your blog. Time is such a fickle mistress.

In our absence, you were forced to scour through the murky and oft sour entrails of the internet to find your odd musical banter. Worry no more. Class is back in session, and P.S. 4080 gladly opens its door to any and every one.

However, I decided to take it a little slow, as we get back into our previous routine. As mentioned above, time is a precious commodity and I know there is not enough of it to go around. So, I only ask for an hour of your time weekly.

In our new series, cleverly titled “An Hour,” I and (hopefully) some guests will post a dope playlist once a week. They are curated to get you to search for new music in odd places; therefore, the playlists will have a combination of contemporary and classic jams. You never know what you will get, but that is the best part of discovery.

This week’s playlist is dedicated to all those whose love for the Spring goes unrequited every year. If you every woke up to warm sounds of new life, sunshine, and fresh smells only to be hit with a scratchy throat, itchy eyes, and the sniffles—this playlist is for you. If you know what it means to be drowsy for 12 straight hours, waiting for someone to pull off dull filter that is your life and to replace it with brightness…my friend, this playlist is for you.

The inaugural “An Hour” is all about vibes, Claritin Vibes to be exact. If you are going to be knocked out for a long time anyways, you might as well get a dose or two of some dopeness as well. Check it out below, let us know how you like it.
